Hilary Alexander is a singer, dancer, and event producer. She created Camp Hollywood in 1998, The National Jitterbug Championships in 2001, and has been the co-leader and vocalist for Jonathan Stout and His Campus Five and The Jonathan Stout Orchestra since 2002. She was inducted into The California Swing Dance Hall of Fame as a Rising Star in 2008 and served on the board of the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame from 2008-2013. She has been a specialty Lindy Hop competition judge at The International Lindy Hop Championships and The US Open Swing Dance Championships, as well as many local dance contests. Her goal is to preserve and honor the original dances and music of the swing era and introduce new generations to California’s great swing legacy.
