Sharon Her began her swing dance journey in 2007 as a dedicated Lindy Hop dancer before expanding her passion into West Coast Swing, where she quickly became a respected and recognizable presence. Sharon lives in Long Beach and has lived and started swing dancing in the Bay area. Sharon is a consistent and active competitor, community supporter, and ambassador for the dance.
Sharon currently competes at the WCS All Star level and has recently stepped into a broader range of professional roles, including judging, teaching, coaching, and occasionally DJing. Her approach to swing dancing is rooted in a deep appreciation for the creative partnership the dance fosters, as well as the technical foundations that make expressive, connected artistry possible.
