It’s impressive to see how Conor’s dance journey evolved! Starting from high school performing arts programs to teaching ballroom and achieving All Star and Champion status in West Coast Swing – he’s certainly made quite a dance career for himself. His blend of experience from Argentine Tango and his passion for creating exceptional lines adds a unique touch to his performances. Now, as a West Coast Swing competitor, he continues to share his expertise with dancers across the nation.
Conor started dancing at the age of 16 as part of his high school’s performing arts programs. While at college, he was exposed to tap, ballet, modern, and partner dancing.
After graduation, he began teaching ballroom at local studios in the SF Bay Area while also teaching jazz and modern dance at UCSC and performing in local musical theater productions.
Conor moved quickly into the top levels within West Coast Swing, achieving All Star and Champion status. While he previously focused on Argentine tango competition and instruction, he now travels, teaches, and competes nationwide as a West Coast Swing competitor in the Champion and Classic Divisions.
Accomplishments: Conor advanced from his first point in Novice to his first point in All-Stars in less than two years and has amassed almost 200 points as an All-Star since then. He recently received his first points as a Champion.
He and his partner placed fourth in the NASDE competition for 2023. And in 2024 they are currently tied for fifth place.
